James Electrical Control, Inc.’s, (JEC), history began with brothers James and Tom Fox founding a small, commercial, electrical company in 1980. Throughout the years, JEC worked for many different clients; however, two things remained consistent: JEC’s personnel and quality. JEC’s current owners are Pedro Aguilar and Sandy Griffith (who joined JEC as technicians in 2002 and became part owners in 2017) and Krista “Marks” Wilkinson (who joined in 1996 and became a part owner in 2006). These core members of both the past and present carry on JEC’s tradition of experienced, high-level quality service and continuity while providing innovative, modern solutions. In 2018, Pedro Aguilar, the current managing member, restructured the company to what it is today. JEC is a proven, certified SDVOSB, SBA 8(a), MBE, DBE service provider with close to 40 years’ experience in the industry.

We have an extensive history of successfully completed projects on most major government facilities in the Maryland, DC and Northern Virginia region. Our employees understand security procedures and are cleared by the government to work at the area’s top government installations. We also work with some of the top businesses, government agencies, schools, and worship institutions in the area to meet communications needs. JEC stays up to date on current standards and certifications for all employees. (BICSI, OSHA, Confined Space etc). JEC employs a BICSI RCDD and OSP RCDD full time. We also hold a GSA Schedule – GS-35F-0273U for ease of direct awards.
